I Don't Get It...

...why are they always so damn hot???

Has anyone else noticed this particular trend? Those high school boys have got it good.

Not hot at all... I'm questioning your taste. Debra Jo Lafeve?? Now she had her moments, but in this case, no thanks...

I agree on this one. Not hot. But it's a creepy creepy trend.

I hope you're kidding.

If the sexes were reversed, we'd be talking about how perveted this 'trend' is. And that's where the real problem lies.

oh- c'mon LMNTl, please tell me that you don't think these young boys have got it "good"?

I'm not sure if this is a double standard we can fix...

And by the way- they aren't always hot. In fact, the last time one of these stories hit the media, one of the news shows did a sidebar about how only the ones that involve hot looking teachers make the national news. They went on to show some of the "less attractive" ones that hadn't received widespread press. It's all in what sells. And I think the idea of "don't these boys have it good" is part of what makes it sell.

I don't recall any of my teachers, high school or middle, being even remotely hot or even related to anyone who was good looking. Now college? College was a whole different story.

There's a post in there somewhere.

EWEWEWEWEW! These stories are so nast. Although, I knew a girl who did it with a middle school teacher, a high school teacher and then dated her college professor. Oh yeah. True story.

She gets points for ballsiness but demerits for stupidity and lack of conscience (she was engaged, remember?)

And did she really think she'd get away with it? (Duh)

What's much more shocking to me is that this is the caliber of intelligence of someone teaching our nation's youth. Would I ever do the job myself? Uh, no thanks, have friends who have and can learn from their misfortunes. Will I be converting $ to Euro and lb Sterling? Possibly...

After all, this is the moral terpitude that someone based his past two elections on: "family values." And the Europeans are not laughing their asses off at us either.

Ballsiness, lack of conscience, and stupidity. How ironic that she embodies the characteristics that someone (successfully) ran their campaign on and now embodies himself (and has propagated throughout the world as being "American values"). Ya do see the irony, right? :D

But then again, we don't care what anyone else thinks. We're American, so we do whatever we want anyway (we're just special that way) :D

Didn't Van Halen write a song about this?? ;-)
